In Uzbekistan, between January and June 2018, 25,900 new small enterprises (other than the farming and agriculture sectors) were created. According to Uza news agency, this figure is 8.6% more than the same period last year.

The trade sector constitutes most of the development share with 23.2%. The shares of other sectors are as follows: industry 22%; construction 12,7%; agriculture, forestry and fishery 12.4%; nutrition 7.7%; transportation and storage is 3.9%.

According to the reports, small business establishments are in first place with a ratio of 22.5%, compared to the population ratio in the region (per 1,000 people).
