26 thousand small enterprises created in Uzbekistan over the last six months
In Uzbekistan, between January and June 2018, 25,900 new small enterprises (other than the farming and agriculture sectors) were created. According to Uza news agency, this figure is 8.6% more than the same period last year.
The trade sector constitutes most of the development share with 23.2%. The shares of other sectors are as follows: industry 22%; construction 12,7%; agriculture, forestry and fishery 12.4%; nutrition 7.7%; transportation and storage is 3.9%.
According to the reports, small business establishments are in first place with a ratio of 22.5%, compared to the population ratio in the region (per 1,000 people). The order of the other regions are as follows: Syrdarya% 17,9; Jizzah 16.4%; Tashkent 15%; Navoy is 13,3% and Kaskadarya is 13,2%; In Bukhara, Andican, Harezm, Fergana, Samarkand and Autonomous Republic of Karakalpak, the average ratio is between 10-13%. 9.9% and 9% in Namangan and Surhandarya regions
