Azerbaijan's Atlas of the ore deposits was prepared
As the result of six-year researches of scientists of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of Azerbaijan, “Atlas of ore deposits of Azerbaijan” was published in the “Elm” publishing house.
“Atlas of ore deposits of Azerbaijan” was prepared after long researches of the Azerbaijani scientists. The Atlas is in Russian language and contains 192 pages and includes 469 macro- and microphotographs, maps, schemes, geological diagrams and 42 tables.
The richest material on the Azerbaijan ore deposits due to producing genetic types, collected by several generations of Azerbaijan geologists is presented in the Atlas.
In the Atlas, structural-morphological, mineral, geochemical and other characteristics of 110 ore deposits together with Azerbaijan’s Dashkesan, Shamkir, Goygol, Agdere, Chanlibel, Lachin, Ailis, Darydag, Gizilbulag, Bashkendchay, Shekerdere, Agyurd, etc. were featured in detail.
In the near future translations of the Atlas in Azerbaijani and English languages will also be available.
