Cattle-breeding started in highlands freed from the terrorists
In Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, locals started cattle-breeding after the successful terror elimination by the Turkish Armed Forces.

In 18 regions 412 highlands, terror was eliminated
Batman, Muş, Diyarbakir, Mardin, Şırnak, Hakkari, Van, Siirt, Erzurum, Ardahan, Erzincan, Kars, Iğdır, Ağrı, Tunceli, Bingöl, and Bursa highlands which were prohibited to use for three years due to terrorist operations, were opened for use owing to the successful operations of the armed forces.
In the eastern regions, where the economy is based on agriculture and animal husbandry, the people are experiencing great happiness after being able to use the meadows and the highlands.

Livestock has increased 16 Percent
386 thousand 110 citizens in 6 thousand 370 highlands engaged in cattle-breeding in the country. Approximately 6 million small and bovine animals are raised in these highlands. Compare to the last year, livestock has increased by 16 percent this year.
