Kazakhstan's Alpinist conquers Everest for the second time
Famous alpinist Maksut Zhumayev conquered the eight-thousand-meter Everest for the second time. Zhumayev dedicated his summit to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's capital city Astana.

Maksut Zhumayev had previously conquered the world's 14 highest summits. With this second summit, the athlete became one of the ten alpinists who climbed Mount Everest on two routes, north and south.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Arıstanbek Mukhamedu, congratulating the sportsman from social media said: "Congratulations, Maksut, we are proud of you!".
