Uzbekistan and Turkey signed an agreement on workers immigrants
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Uzbekistan, with Şavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan signed an agreement on workers immigrants.
During Recep Tayyip's Erdogan official visit to Uzbekistan were signed several agreements. One of these agreements is the "Agreement on the Protection of the Rights of Immigrant Workers and Their Family Members".
The Agreement includes the rights of migrant workers who are citizens of Uzbekistan with family members and issues relating to the protection of the rights of migrant workers and their family members who are citizens of Turkey.
According to the agreement, migrant workers can work in Turkey based on contracts with employers, in accordance with the laws of Turkey.
In addition, under the agreement, both countries will work together as much as possible in order to facilitate the regulation of migration flows in their own countries and to prevent illegal activities in their countries.
